Alert and response colleagues ace audit once again

We are delighted to report that our colleagues in Alert and Response have worked diligently to complete a Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Quality Audit and passed with flying colours. Once again receiving the ‘compliant’ certification in all twelve of the required criteria.

Due to the pandemic the audit had to be completed in a new format, entirely remotely taking a full four months to complete. The team’s meticulous preparations and hard work over the past year were evidenced in the report, and the team’s passion was especially highlighted up by TEC Commissioner at Trafford Council, Hannah Wilson. She says: “it is always a pleasure to work with the Alert and Response team, who work together with us to understand just what customers’ needs are and always bring a fresh perspective.”

There has recently been an increase in the uptake of Alert and Responses services, and customers can rest assured that they are in the best possible care.

Mick Gallagher, Director of Independent Living, said: “Having telecare in place reassures customers that there’s someone on the other end of the phone providing help and support whenever they need it. With the pandemic and lockdown continuing with more people shielding, it’s more important than ever that we are providing the best possible service.

To receive the compliant accreditation in a pandemic is fantastic and reflects the team’s dedication and hard work, who go above and beyond for all our customers. It is a fabulous achievement and will only strengthen the already strong relationship with our partners.”
