What is Supported Housing?
If you or one of your loved ones are struggling to manage in their own home, our range of Supported Housing offers you the independence of your own flat or bungalow with the addition of care and support should you need it?
Each property is fitted with a pull cord and or pendant alarm system linking you to our 24/7 telecare Alert and Response service. Scheme managers are available at some locations and are on hand to provide additional support and make regular checks on residents' wellbeing.
How does Supported Housing work?
As well as the independence and privacy of your own flat or bungalow, you'll also have access to communal lounges, kitchens, dining areas and maintained gardens.
If you need care and support, you can arrange it yourself or let us do it for you through our Homecare service, so you can get on with enjoying life and take advantage of the many social opportunities on offer.
You're free to have visitors come and go as you please, and entry to the schemes is via a secure electronic fob system.
What does Support Housing cost?
We have 19 sheltered housing and three extra care schemes across Trafford, which means you can stay close to your community, family and friends.
You’re free to have visitors come and go as you please and entry to the schemes is via a secure electronic fob system. You’re also free to drop in on the luncheon club, make an appointment with the visiting hairdresser, or take part in any of the social and wellbeing activities on offer.
